Let’s just take a moment to appreciate that Amy Adams had to hold a live fish in her mouth. A LIVE FREAKING FISH

Let’s talk about the fact that the receptionist is Jodie Benson, the voice of Ariel.

Basically:
Disney says that The Beast’s human form is refereed to as “Prince Adam”.The creator of the Beast says that he has no name, but guess what - he doesn’t own the rights.

Expanded:
Disney owns the rights to The Beast and any other form he may take, any book he’s in or any legit reference to him, and when he is human, he is labeled “Prince Adam” by Disney. If you see the face character for the human form of the Beast in Disneyland Paris, he will sign his autograph book “Prince Adam”.If you go to Toys R Us and Target and other places that have Disney merchandise, if it’s a human form of the Beast, it is labeled “Prince Adam”.In the Royal bedrooms in the Port Orleans Riverside - which I’ve gotten a tour of for shits and giggles, the picture of him is labeled “Prince Adam” next to all the other princes.
So yes, the creator originally said that he didn’t think The Beast had another name, but Disney, as the company who owns the rights over the beloved character from Beauty and the Beast - a well known Disney classic that even has it’s own section in the Disney Park, Magic Kingdom - likes to call him Prince Adam when human, that is his name.
I’m sorry if it’s hard to understand, but that’s the truth of the matter.
P.S. it’s kind of smart to go with “Prince Adam” because it is the exact opposite of “The Beast”.

P.S. - way to handle being wrong but not posting my message publicly.

I don’t published your ask because I already answered a lot of asks about this. Did you watch the videos I sent you?

I call him prince Adam as a human, it’s too late, the name is stuck and on several pieces of merchandise
